There are plenty of monitors in that size range. You don't need to get rid of everything smaller to have a decent selection in the size you want - you already have it.

As for me, I don't want such an enormous thing on my desk. I have a 27" at work, and that size suits me just fine.

Also, I don't want 4k, since you really need a high-end card to drive them properly. Especially with HDR, which I do want.

I have an IPS display that is about 10 years old now and I'm looking to replace it. The colors are great, but I don't like the IPS sparkle and graininess. What is the state of the current tech? Are they still like that?
