Question Aorus 15G KB; GPU recognised but not being used (?)

Jul 27, 2016
I was originally trying to get stretched res for CSGO because I play 1280x960 4:3 stretched on my desktop PC.
I bought this laptop since it was a good price compared to the MSRP and is half the price of what I bought my desktop for but more powerful.

I'm missing settings in nvidia control panel and idk what to do, I've uninstalled the graphics driver and installed from scratch; nothing, uninstalled nvidia contol panel from msstore; restarted; installed it back; nothing. I've checked the bios for a default gpu or selection for it but there's nothing and the bios menu is so primitive, it looks like it's from the 90s (bit of an exaggeration) but it looks so dated.

I have the latest Nvidia drivers, onboard (CPU) graphics drivers and windows (11) version.

Now, I've disabled the integrated graphics and checked the nvidia control panel and it doesn't show the monitor is connected to the GPU, what does this mean?

Also, When I disable the onboard graphics I don't have an option for 240hz??
Will not let me install these, I select them to install and click on download and install and it goes back a menu...
