I am building a computer using this motherboard a WD Black NVMe M.2 2280 500GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 3D SSD. Also, I plan on only using one HDD for data plus a DVD writer on SATA. The manual is somewhat cryptic as to which of the three slots to use for the SSD. What is the best slot to use for the SSD?

The way its set up it shouldn't matter, in general I use the top slot for everything unless I have clearance or heat issues.

An NVMe drive will work in either of the 3 M.2 slots, however of you use the top slot SATA ports 4 and 5 will be disabled.
