Aorus Gaming 5 Z270X NO DISPLAY

Hello, I am having trouble getting a signal from my display. I've installed everything correctly but yet can't get a signal.

My setup is:
Motherboard: Aorus gaming 5 z270x
GPU: Intel Core i7
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 (2 X 8)
Graphics Card: Gigabyte geforce gtx 1050 ti d5 4g
Cooling System : CORSAIR - Hydro Series H110i Dual 140mm Liquid Cooling System
Power Supply: Thermaltake - smart series 650w
HDD: Samsung Evo SSD 500GB

I've tried connecting the computer and the monitor with an HDMI cable with no luck then went and bought a VGA to HDMI converter, still with no luck. The keyboard light turns but no picture on the monitor. I get a LED code on the motherboard that says AE

Can you all help me with this?

'ae' means legacy boot event, and legacy boot event means cannot find boot device, try to turn on your pc with no drive connected, go into the bios first to make sure things were correct
