Hello,
I am facing an odd issue that i hope can be solved by the experts out there.

Im a bit of a "noobie" so please forgive me if i fail to provide crucial information.

Situation:
I am using an Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 9 REV 1.0 Motherboard that works perfectly with an 7740X.
BIOS version is currently the latest F8m which should support i9 10th Gen CPU's according to their website:

X299 AORUS Gaming 9 (rev. 1.0) Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE U.K.

I recently bought a new 10900X CPU and simply replaced my old 7740X for this one expecting it to work right out the box.
However, When i try to start up my PC, it goes into a Boot Loop with no POST or Bios.

If i put the 7740X back in, it starts up no issues.

I have checked and performed the following:
  • CMOS Clear/Reset
  • Replacing all DIMM and in there correct slots for the new 48 Lane CPU.
  • Tried removing Intel 900p and other Hardware
I believe its something to do with the BIOS as the PC wont even boot into the BIOS with the 10900X
It literally powers up for 5 seconds and restarts the whole machine.

Also, i noticed on the CPU Support list for the Aorus Gaming 9, the required BIOS version is F8L which doesnt even seem to exist on the Bios download page:
X299 AORUS Gaming 9 (rev. 1.0) Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE U.K.

Is there something stupid that i am missing?

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers
