Aorus GTX 1080ti problems with Aorus Z370 Gaming 7 mobo?

My friend is rich and he needs to know what mother board he needs to get and he said he wants an Aorus GTX 1080ti XTREME Waterforce AIO. So I looked it up and I was reading the reviews and I read this "I wanted to give this product 5 starts because it is absolutely beautiful and very high quality. Unfortunately, it has a design flaw and it would not fit in properly with their own Z370 gaming 7 motherboard. The slot mounting plate on the video card wont seat in properly because it is hitting the amp audio plastic cover. I was able to put it in but it bends the motherboard up while you push the gpu plate down. I thought maybe the problem is my Corsair 600c case but I installed my asus motherboard and 2 gtx 1080 with no problems at all. I tried calling their technical support twice and nobody bothers to answer. I just bought 2 of this gpu and I am about to give up and return the items back to amazon because I honestly do not know how to install this without technical support from Gigabyte." Any conclusions on if this a problem with the GPU or himself?
