Question Aorus GTX1080 Xtreme Edition 8GB - No Display, 1 out of 2 white led above 8pin constantly on

Hi guys can someone help me solve this problem, i'm currently using AORUS GTX1080 xtreme edition 8gb
my problem is

-1 out of 2 white led above 8 pin constantly on? what does this mean?
-PC boots but only detect integrated graphics

The light usually indicates that the cable is disconnected or that the card has a defect.
You could try with another 6+2 pcie power connector if your psu got more than two.

is your monitor connected to the gpu and not the motherboard?

It is the smart power LED indicator, it means the cable is disconnected, or no power.

1. What PSU did you have? for gtx1080, you need a good brand 550W or up.
2. If the cable is fine, and you got the good PSU, may test the gtx1080 in other PC, because the GPU may have problem.

my monitor is connected to the gpu but shows no display and then when i connect it to the motherboard it shows

Have you tried another 6+2 connector or another psu?
I fear that you may need a new gpu

Yes still no display but i was just using this the other day and its fine
