Hi,

I recently bought this monitor and having gsync enabled over freesync. Making my monitor 144hz to 120hz. I have used the DP cable and the latest Nvidia driver.
But I do not understand why Hz became 120. instead of 144hz. and how can I use 144hz in Gsync? Also if I use 120hz with Gsync will it reduce my gaming experience or will increase it?

Thank you!

Your gaming performance will be the same. Refresh rate doesn't determine your graphics card output with freesync or gsync enabled. It is in fact your GPU that is then in charge of the refresh rate. If your system can achieve 144+ FPS then you should probably just turn syncing off.

Difference between 120hz and 144hz is minor. Both in terms of being able to tell the difference and the actually difference in frame times.

Nvidia claims that one as G-sync compatible up to 144hz, so this might be worth reporting to them directly. They might need to tweak the next release of the driver.
