Just brought an account that has AoS enable. I do not have the AoS cd. The
cd I have is up to Blackthorn's Revenge. Do I need to go out and purchase
the AoS cd to play? When I log on all i see is black screens!

Thanks!
Davie

Well thats no good. If I were you I'd go out and buy a copy of the
latest version - the 7th anniversary editiion. That way you have the
CD and you can upgrade your account to have a 6th character slot and
you get one of the cool gifts as well.

They're cheap - like 30 bucks.

You can also still find AOS for around $10 in some places.

I don't think you can get the updater to update *that* much. So the answer is
basically yes, you need the AOS client. You might be able to download the trial
edition still:

Bahh. EAStore sent me a $15 off coupon. I got mine for $10.05 (4.95 = game,
5.15 = shipping). I say you all got ripped off. 😛
