apartment cable internet

I recently moved to a new unit in my apartment, hooked up my cable internet router and it still works. Do I need to call my ISP and let them know Ive moved to a different unit?

Your ISP tracks you by the modem' MAC address, not by physical location. Since you keep same modem, you are still "a legitimate customer".
