APB graphic problems

Hi, i played APB a year ago and it ran perfectly fine, my specs then were:
Manufacturer : Dell
Model : Studio XPS 435T
Rating : 5.9
Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz 2.67GHz
Installed Memory (RAM) : 16.0 GB
System Type : 64-bit

Graphics card was : Nvidia GeForce 310




Now the only difference is the graphics card
my new graphics card is the : Nvidia GeForce GTX 660


Now my screen image freezes but the audio keeps going for like 2 mins then stops, hard reset is the only solution.
Image goes black and audio has a BRRRRRRRRRRRRR sound, hard reset is the only solution.
The image turns very bity and blocky and really bad coloring and crashes APB but not my system.





please help me, im worried about my computer.... its only this game but what if it spreads to other game?


ive repaired APB and reinstalled it 4 times, twice from steam and twice from gamersfirst.



any help would be appreciated dearly

oh and when all this happens does it damage my system? like should i stop trying to play APB till its fixed?
