APC Back-UPS 550 behavior question

When I plug in my APC Back-UPS 550 I have to turn it on at the switch to power it up. After a loss of supply power, when the UPS powers my equipment until it depletes and shuts down, will it start automatically on restoration of power? Or will I need to turn on the switch again?

My experience with APC back-UPS is that you need do nothing.
You might want to install their monitoring app called Parachute.
It will allow you to test a power outage.
Or, you can simulate this yourself by unplugging the unit from the wall.
I doubt you would need to manipulate the switch at any time.
