App to let me shut off PC?

I want to download something really big on steam but cant because of school, and i dont want my pc to stay running after it is done downloading. Is there a app out there that will let me shut down my PC from school or where ever I am? Or can i set a time on my pc to just shut down or go to sleep?

I think you can easily to find the DOS commend on internet, search it and you will find it.
