Apple 5S vs the Apple 6

the newest latest and greatest is always the way to go for phones if you have the budget for it. each new version is a bit better than the last and the 6 is a pretty good bit better than the 5s plus it is slightly bigger. i have owned every iphone since they came out and the 4.7 in iphone 6 seems twice as big as the 4 in models before them. i don't need the 7 in mega phone's people use but it was very noticable going from 4 to 4.7 in with the new iphone 6.

The iPhone 6 overall was an failure IMO yet people still purchased it. The only thing different was a better CPU and GPU, stuff that the average person who buys the phone does not even care about. Unless you want the larger one I would get the 5S and save the money, they're practically the same.

Then again what do I know about phones.

how is better cpu and gpu a failure? care to elaborate a bit on what makes better a failure? benchmarks have shown a 50% increase over the 5s in applications. not sure where this = failure.....

and please don't go into the whole fanboy rant. i heard all the ios/android arguments but never seen anyone say one iphone to the next is much the same. just like to know what makes you say this.

I am no fanboy, I have Apple products myself and own no Android products. If you're really going to make use of the faster CPU and GPU then it's a fine buy, but really how necessary is it for the average person who is checking their email or whatever snapchat?

I feel like if you own a 5S then the upgrade is not worth it, I guess if you own nothing at all might as well buy the 6 to furuteproof. As a new phone it is fine, as an upgrade from the previous version I don't see how it is reasonable enough for the money IMO. As said, I like Apple products and have some but am still running iPod 4th gen and iPad Mini 1st gen just fine. Upgrading to iPad Mini 2 will give me no benefit in the light web browsing I do.

i get what you're saying. if you're only checking email and making calls then you could save a bunch of cash and get a nice cheap android phone. i got my dad an lg volt which is pretty decent for the 79.99 he got it for :)

i just assume most folks use the apps and will play the occasional game on the phone. even my 73 yr old dad who swore he only needed his old flip phone has skimmed the app store for a couple games and it can be hard to pull him away from bejeweled when he gets going.

i have bought every version of the phone and enjoyed each upgrade. going from one to the next it is easy to see the difference but if you have never had one, then i guess a 5s would seem good. the 3gs was about the only one i had that was not much of an improvement. before everyone else got the iphone it was easy to sell each one for the new one and normally got most of the cost covered.

when the 4 came out i got 4 of them through various means and left them unopened and went straight to the apple store. i got $1500 each for them from the ones who did not get it pre-ordered in time. now them was some fan boys.... one dude even cried as he paid me he was so happy.

The reason I like the i phone 5 S is that it is smaller than the 6 phone and can be easily fit into your pocket than the 6 inch one which is to big to fit.

These are only rumours. We shall see what happens in the future.

The main difference between these phones are the size so it depends on what you do with it. If all you do is the simple things like texts and calls then the 5 wins as both can do it very well. If you want to surf the web for a long time, the 6 is better unless you have good eyesight. This is the same for videos and games. Also the 6 has the advantage in the camera.

So really it depends on what you do with it. 5 for one hand usabilty or 6 for a multimedia experiance. The choiice is yours.

Why is the Apple 6 smaller than the 6 i and costs more?It does not make any sense.

What you said makes no sense? What do you mean by the apple 6 is smaller than the 6?

Sometimes Apple makes no sense period.
