[SOLVED] apple IOS problem

My iPod touch 4th gen. does not show a software update available, but i have 5 apps that show updates available that i can not update because i need IOS 5.

How do i update my IOS?

According to Apple you can update the 4th gen iPod touch to iOS 5.

LOL an Ipod touch 4th Gen can run IOS 6. http://www.apple.com/uk/ios/whats-new/

Back to the OP plug it into the latest version of iTunes and it should update
