This is excellent news, I wonder how long until apple pitches a fit and starts trying to sue.

The main company looking to compete with Apple have already hired the brains behind the M1 chip. However, my opinion is that the M1 chip is successful not just because of the hardware, but in part due to the software that complemented well. This is however not the case for either Windows, nor Android, due to heavy fragmentation.
