Apple May Order Carbon Fiber Parts for Future Product

Well shit, now anything that is made with carbon will infringe on Apple's soon-to-be-copyrighted technology.

Ah, that's good to know. Unfortunately experience with carbon-fiber bikes is the opposite. Where, say, a metal fork assembly would bend and at least still be usable, CF tend to catastrophically snap.

I wouldn't hold out for that. They've had the same design concept since 2003 with the aluminum powerbook G4. We're coming on a DECADE of the same exact concept with a few tiny differences. It got thinner, the screen edges are black, the keys are black, uses a unibody. Tada!

To be perfectly fair. I am all for anything that is made to last. Bring on the carbon fiber. And oh... Make the chassis re-usable while you are at it please.
