I didn't see any such claims in the keynote.

You said, "I said search for "M1 Max on par with Vega 56", plenty out there with several different benchmarks."

Discounting all of the meaningless gaming benchmarks that test INTEL Mac x86 emulated games via Rosetta translation, which benchmarks are you talking about? I've seen a lot others outside of emulated games and they are all around the the performance of the "mobile" RTX 3080 at a fraction of the power.

Then of course there is this. A great example of a native optimized app for the M1.
