I have been getting this message on my laptop for almost a week.... This application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)
is there a way to fix this?

If it has not come up, you can't find out where it's coming from.

You can maybe check the event log for the times it did come up. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Open-Event-Viewer

Probably in the Applications log.

Well, admload.exe is not a vital process (part of VAIO care bloat ware), so I suggest you to turn it off all together.
