Hi, I have this GTX 1070 Palit and still kicking latest titles. I really want to maximize its lifespan as much as possible by reapplying thermal pads and thermal paste. Not sure what to purchase though since there are different thickness of pads to choose from. What type of thickness should I buy for my card ?

Solution
You should disassemble the card + use a sliding caliper or a scale/ruler to measure the thickness of the pads that are in your card, would also help to measure the length and width of each pad to make sure you know how much to get. As for brands, you could look at these guys;

Once you've found the dimensions to the card's current thermal pads, wipe off the thermal paste with isopropyl alcohol and then repaste with aftermarket thermal paste. Once the thermal pads come in, you can then disassemble the card a second time to replace the thermal pads.

I've used Fujipoly pads in the past, now you can probably source Deepcool or even ThermalGrizzly.
