Appropriate PSU in Budget

My current system config is asus m5a78l-usb3 mobo, 4gb gskill ddr3 1333Mhz ram, 320gb 5400 rpm sata hdd, amd fx 6300 . In future I want to increase ram to *gb ddr3, 1 tb hard disk, and an nvidia 960 or 970 card. Please suggest me an appropriate psu within $74 or Rs.5000. Btw how much watt shall I need?

for GTX 960 450 W with good quality should be enough
for GTX 970 500 W.

Gold quality PSU minimum as i know its 550W, i think 550W XFX Gold / Seasonic Gold / EVGA gold, should be okay.

But would recommend 650W Gold, since you are using AMD aswell. Usually AMD CPU use more watt than intel

For a gtx 970 get a 550w or larger unit from tier 1 or 2.
