April 2018 Update - No HDMI Audio Detected

So I just updated to the 'April 2018' version of Windows 10 and already I am regretting it.

Currently I use my television as a main monitor and have both the video and audio over HDMI, playing from the television speakers. When I updated today, the audio was no longer playing correctly. I have a MIDI input for recording guitar and keyboards with it's own 6.35mm studio headphone output, which it had selected as the audio output. I unplugged this card and rebooted, hoping it would pick up the AMD audio output as it always had.

Unfortunately not. Not to be confusing, it is NOT the case that the HDMI audio out is in the list of playback devices and it simply is not working; it just isn't in the list. If I disconnect my bluetooth headphones and MIDI input, Win10 with actually launch a troubleshooter because it thinks there are NO playback devices. I have no idea how to get his option back, because I don't have any other speakers currently, just headphones.

Thankyou for any help guys, I have been on the version for literally half an hour and am already aggravated!

System:

CPU: Intel i5 4670k
GPU: AMD R9 280X Sapphire, 3GB
Physical Mem: 16GB

Thanks again!

I just looked at my Windows spec and I am already on 17134.48.

I had been putting off the update for a little while so if there was a 17134.1 version I guess I just skipped it.

Also just tried hooking up my laptop over HDMI and it works fine; and I've tried that same cable with my Xbox and there are no issues with the audio so it isn't the port or the cable.
