Hey, so I just installed their latest update and the PC keep rebooting, like it can't see or boot my Windows drive.

I have a Samsung SSD 960 PRO M1. UEFI sees it in boot order, I see the Windows logo but at some point it stops and reboot.

I have zero ideas what to do :/

Solution

Did you try booting into Safe Mode? If you can successfully boot into Safe Mode then try running sfc /scannow in a Command Prompt window to see if there is any system file corruption.

If you can't boot into Safe Mode then backup any data that you want to keep from the NVMe drive and reinstall Windows 10.

First thanks for your help, regarding the 3 boots, that did not happen. I have another internal drive for storage connected.

Was Windows 10 previous installed on that other drive?

Was that other drive connected at the time you originally installed Windows 10 on the MVMe SSD?

Only the NVMe drive was connected when I installed because it wouldnt let me otherwise.

Can you boot with the bootable USB flash drive that you installed Windows 10 from? Maybe you can run Troubleshooting from there. The fact that you actually see the Windows logo indicates partial booting. There may be a device driver conflict preventing a successful boot.

Seems like the most straightforward thing to do. I will try tonight.

Trying to boot up again, I did boot on the usb drive to get into repair mode. Tries to troubleshoot and repair but can't. "startup repair couldn't repair your pc"

Since you're able to boot from the USB flash drive then that seems to indicate that the Windows version on the MVMe SSD is corrupted in some way.

I saw this first hand twice 2 days ago. Brand new pc with m.2 drive got the update. rebooted 4 or 5 times and eventually finished after maybe an hour. Second pc, standard hd, rebooted several times but eventually finished after maybe 2.5 hours. It appeared that both were stuck or bricked (they were not mine) so I just let them be. In this case I believe patients is a virtue.
