APU and GPU Crossfire

Will i be able to crossfire the AMD A10 7870k APU and the AMD R9 290x or the soon to be released R9 380/90/90x (depending on pricing)

No a simple google search will show you what cards you can crossfire with the A10. Its actually referred to as dual graphics not crossfire.

With your CPU best GPUs are R9 280 or GTX 960 any better GPU will be limited by your CPU because majority off game use DX11 on mantle/Vulkan API or with upcoming DX12 you can even Run R9 290x on this CPU.
DX12 allow also use APU iGPU + discrete GPU to give small boost in games.

Just don't do it. It was never refined and everyone reported it as a flop; glitchy, quirky and overall not a smooth experience. I recommend you get yourself a GTX 960 or R9 280X and run it as your dedicated graphics.
