I have an A10-7870K APU with Gigabyte G1 Sniper A88X motherboard and I was wondering if upgrading from 1600Mhz to 2400 will give me any real world difference in gaming performance
edit: I'm using the integrated graphics on the APU

I mean everyone is right that is saying a gpu would make more sense but if you've seen the increase that RAM can give you and think it's worth it then go for it. But if do plan on getting a GPU then I wouldn't worry about upgrading your RAM unless you're adding...
Generally ram speeds aren't that big of a deal now a days, 1600 is plenty fast.. Of course if you were running something like 566 or something then yes i could see an upgrade but at this point no. You wouldn't really gain anything important unless your just bored and want to spend money i wouldn't. The first upgrade would be on that cpu.

@Fshadow, If you're looking to improve performance, RAM speed is probably not the way to go. It would be extremely helpful if you posted your full specs, including your power supply mfg. and model #. Also, your budget is essential. Whether it's $50 or $500, please let us know and we'll help you.

I don't even think it's 10%. But I do remember Jaystwocents doing a video about RAM frequency and how it affects APU performance. You should check out his channel and look for it.

I'd already watched the video and it seems there was a good increase in performance
