APU or discrete GPU dilemma

Should I go for Ryzen 5 2400G or Pentium G4560+GT 1030 with 8 GB (2 sticks* 4GB)2400Mhz RAM and the stock cooler? Which motherboard should I choose? My budget for the motherboard is around 6k INR(about 90 USD). Planning to use it mainly as a gaming system. Using 2400Mhz RAM which won't be very good for Ryzen. Overall which one will be cheaper to overclock for better gaming performance? Or will one of them perform much better than the other without oveclocking?

You will, in most cases, be unable to overclock the Pentium chip. Did you mean 60k INR or 6k? The 2400G trades blows with the GT 1030 rather decently, not to mention it is WAY stronger in the CPU department. What are you planning to do with the system?
