i have an a10-6700 apu. i know it uses some vram like a gpu so i have less ram than installed.
i have 12 gb by the way. i got the r9 270 gpu a couple month ago so does my cpu still use my ram for graphics or does the gpu do that so i have full 12 gb of ram?

Ok so you're asking if your RAM is still being used as VRAM even with the new graphics card installed? In that case, no it isn't, as since the monitor is plugged into the new graphics card, it is the using the VRAM on the GPU. You have 12 full GB of RAM to use :)
