aquamark score going from 33k to 18k?

So yeah, I have a BBA Radeon 9700 pro, and i recently noticed a drop in game performance. So i decided to check my aquamark scores, and low and behold they too have dropped and i can't think of any reason as to what happened.....
My system is:
MSI KT3 ultra2 w/ athlon xp 2600+
512 2700 ddr
radeon 9700 pro
soundblaster live value
10/100 nic
cd/rw
dvd
10gb 5400 rpm
40gb 7200 rpm
