[SOLVED] Archer C8 router

I decided to do a reset of my wifi router (I just wanted to) which is a tplink archer c8 router. Now I cant log in at all. After a reset it just asks me for a password (no user name). Before it would ask me for the user name and password but now it only asks for a password (doesnt mention anything about a user name).

How can I log on? The default password is admin but that is not working.

All the login information is right at the bottom of the router

yes there is, but none of it is working. In the past i would be prompted to enter a user name and password, but after I upgarded the firmware (few months back) after this reset it only asks for a password. Something isnt right. I wonder if the firmware upgrade changed the login process. Do you think that is an option?

after firmware update they reset to default factory settings use them to acces it .

since it doesnt prompt me with a user name, the only option i have is to enter a password. And when I use the default password, it doesnt work. What are the odds my router is screwed up and I need to buy a new one?

still not working, this is soooo weird. wondering if i should just buy a new router. I have reset it so many times now but nothing works.

they where a few version of this router i would look under it to see the version of it and try to reflash bios .
