Hello ! I just bought an ARCTIC AC Accelero Xtreme IV for my 660 GTX and I got a problem with space in my motherboard.. This cooler is taking some space and I wonder.. Will there Be a problem if i wont put the black Back radiator ? Or If I'll cut it in about half to get into my motherboard ?

Solution
The back radiator is mostly for cooling the VRAM (the onboard memory). You should still be able to use the cooler without adding the back radiator but your VRAM might heat up and there is no way for you to monitor this. You can cut the radiator smaller as long as you keep the part of the radiator that needs to connect to the spots on the back of the card where the VRAM is located.

An alternative would be to purchase small VRAM heatsinks and eliminate the back radiator. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Cosmos-Aluminum-Cooling-Heatsinks-cooler/dp/B007XACV8O
