Question arctic accelero xtreme iii

so im in the process of selling my gtx 1080 ti. i stalled the artic xtreme 3 on it with the thermal adhesive that came with it and its really stuck on the vrams. Has anyone ever taken off the heatsinks on these coolers before? cause ive tried a heat gun+razor blade and it really stuck on there.

Never heard of any major issues with them. Haven't used that version specifically, but have used older.

I know the heat gun hasn't worked, but maybe try running a stress test on the card to heat the VRAM - then remove the card and see if they come off?

i would but i think the time it takes to get the cooler off the Vram heat sinks would have cooled down a bit. The heat gun made my card very hot (cant even put my hand on the heated area) and it still didnt seem to move. Been reading other forums on this issue and it seems that arctic made the thermal adhesive so it cant be removed.
