I am never lucky in these kinds of things... I bought the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro fan because it seemed popular, had a great price tag, had many great reviews and was supposedly doing a great job at cooling my new processor (X2 3800+ S939 OEM, which doesn't ship with the stock fan). However, I had a bad surprise because, even though the fan and the heatsink fit perfectly in my Gigabyte GA-K8U-939 motherboard, the metal bracket to fix the lugs on the retention module is too large:

At the top, you can't put the lever because of the capacitators, and at the bottom you can't put it either because it then completely covers the molex connector for the motherboard power.
Is there possibly a way to use an alternative metal bracket, compatible with my motherboard and this fan, while keeping my actual fan? I didn't want to spend too much money on this minor upgrade. (Replacing the CPUs took about 10 seconds).
