Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro any good?

have intel q6600 with stock cooler, can clocke it to atleast 3.4, had to cut down to 3.1 due to heat(getting to 80c under 4 prime95 instences) so i need somthing to keep me cool at 3.4 or maybe more

i cheked the reviews, they seem ok, but they are done on older cpu's not q6600

so i am stuck at ither Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro for cheap fan included, or Cooler Master Hyper Z600 + fan which is going to be more then twice the price

what u think?

probably the best cooler you can get for under $40 is the sunbeamtech core contact freezer. i got mine for 36, and the place also sells IC diamond 7, so that was a good deal.

newegg is offering the sumbeam with a $5 rebate atm, so it's $32.

if you planning on oc'ing more later, i would recommend the coolit pure.

whatever you get, you'll be looking forward to removing the mobo and installing a backplate mount. the best with a good backplate is the Thermalright ultra 120 or ultra 120 extreme. i would probably also recommend this for intels because it comes with a convex contact surface, which matches well with intel chip concavity.

I recommend getting a HSF with a backplate like the XIGMATEK S1283 (+ bolt in kit).

I have an E8400 with the ac7 and couldn't be happier, running at a conservative 3.6ghz can go to over 4 if need be. and they're cheap! go for it.

I have one and I'm very satisfied with it. A previous poster recommended a Xigmatek S1283, which is also a very good cooler.
