I have a problem regarding my arctic freezer 7 pro. Whenever i lock 4 pins, my computer couldn't boot up and then i tried to unlock 1 pin of the fan and my computer booted up. I also went to the computer shop and they couldnt solve the problem.. i don't know if they know how to fix it because they said they never handled that kind of fan. When i got home...i used the fan with just 3 pins..and then i tried overclocking it but it couldnt run with an increment of 100mhz.... i tried it with my stock fan and it could run with an increment of 300mhz without even tampering the voltage... although with the freezer pro 7 even if i increase the voltage...with .5 volts it couldnt handle the additional 100mhz.... My mobo is Gigabyte P965-DQ6 and it would be a big help if anyone could help me solve this problem... 😀

It sounds like there is a short in the wire for the fan on the AC Freezer pro. I would return it for a new one if I was you and dont plug it in anymore you could damage your motherboard or psu if its shorting something out.
