Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 with i7-8700k

Will this PC work?

Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2
ASUS Prime Z370-A
GTX 960 4gb
HyperX Fury 2X8 16GB 2666mhz ddr4
Seasonic M12II EVO Edition 620 watts bronze


I will not upgrade my GPU because I mainly play csgo.
So the main question is, does the Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 fit with i7-8700k and will it do its job,
or I need better cooler?
I have this wierd combo because I dont want to waste more money.

It'll "work", I guess, yes.

BUT, the Freezer7 Pro is a relatively weak cooer for a 6core i7.

While the 8700K is a 95W TDP chip, even at stock speeds, it can pull ~150W, >200W under full load when overclocked.

Given the Freezer7 Pro is ~7 years old at this point, and designed for TDPs maxing at 130W (although recommended <115W), it's pretty underwhelming.

Why do you want to cheap out on cooler when you have i7 8700k. That's not way to go. For that cpu you will need good cooling. ARCTIC Freezer 33 eSports ONE is on amazon 29.99usd.

In Estonia this cooler is 52 euros. I think its too much.
Right now i have the arctic freezer 7, thats why i was asking but oki i will find one.

It'll "work", but load temps etc will probably be a concern.

Do you have any specific websites you'd look at? Regional pricing/availability differs dramatically.
