My son's pc with a ryzen 5700g started to get very hot. Took me a while to remember what kind of AIO it had, and that arctic had a free service kit for it.

THe block looked like this after 18 months of daily use

Happy for a company caring for its reputation.

Just for the sake of relevance, if you're sure that it's by Arctic, you should make haste and contact Arctic, mentioning the cooler's model and it's serial number. If you're not sure this is by Arctic, please pass on a picture of the entire AIO, not just the block.

And yes, that block's gunk/build up, is cause for concern.

Sorry for being unclear. It's indeed Arctic, and it's how it looked when I opened the AIO to apply the service kit already shipped to me by Arctic. Block, gasket and some spare coolant.

I was not being sarcastic :)

Lol. I don't think anybody could mistake Arctic Liquid Freezer II for any other make.
I bought my 360 to replace 240 only few days before Arctic's announcement so I wrote them same day and got answer that mine is in the "Safe Zone" made after the fix was applied.
That should mean that they started "the fix" before it was announced. Nice touch the offset kit for Ryzen 5000, 5c lower temps.
