Do I have to run my PC after I apply arctic silver? Can I let it sit overnight once I apply it and then start my rig up in the morning, will it hurt it?

no, I do not think that it will hurt u'r PC. bet it is best To give 1-2Hours rest afret applying it...........

Arctic Silver 5 has a curing process where it needs to heat up and cool down a few times before getting optimum performance - usually takes a few days.

But I'm not sure why you think you can't run the computer straight away - it's not like thermal compound needs to set or dry or anything, so start up as soon as you're ready no need to wait.

yeah and most of the time a stressed cpu might help arctic silver to get it's peak thermal performance so..cranck it up!

Nor have I honestly, but Arctic Silver say it takes a few thermal cycles to settle out.

Arctic Silver even recommends turning on your PC right after you finish putting it back together to improve the curing.
