Arctic Silver

Most people will know this, but I freely admit that I do not. When applying arctic silver to a socket A athlon, does it just go on the small slug in the middle?
also...anyone had any experience of using copper spacers between the processor and heatsink...any good?
I'm also thinking of using a 'hedgehog' cooler with an upgraded fan...what do you think?

Just on the slug, but do check out their site.

I think the Hedgehog is too expensive and too big, but that's just me. Are you planning on some serious overclocking? I'm running a 1 GHz Thunderbird w/an Alpha PAL6035 & Arctic Silver, idle temp is 30 C, maxes out around 45.
