Arctis 7 not charging?

Got these Arctis 7s yesterday, they've been plugged in for 2+ hours in total and still haven't budged off of the flashing red light (9-1%.) Any idea why? Should I return?

Im really getting tired of premium headphone companies using cheap fragile micro usb connectors. This is the second pair of Arctis 7 Headphones i'm using because of charging issues. After a few months the charging wire starts getting wobbly until the dreaded moment your charge light starts cutting in and out. Micro USB is the WORST connector made. Why does steelseries use them????
