so i finally decided to buy a 144hz monitor [playing on 1440x900 75hz monitor currently]

The qusestion is what is the difference between some monitors one with let's say 300$ and the other coast 250$ ... both 144hz 1ms ... To be clear is buying monitors based on personality i mean like gaming mouses there are +100$ gaming mouses and others coasts 50$ so it's based on personality and what u like .. is it the same as the 144hz 1ms monitors ?

Also i'm going to buy this monitor [ MSI G24C 24inch 144hz 1MS]

https://www.amazon.com/MSI-FreeSync-non-Glare-Optix-G24C/dp/B072JZ66T3

can u guys tell me if it's good for gaming [FPS - MOBA .. etc]
i want to buy this instead of the Benq and asus monitors cuz i like the curve and the design
so what u guys think ?

Thanks in advance

I think 24" is a little bit too small for a curved monitor but as for the differences there pretty subtle. Some support Freesync, others Gsync and some none. I would recommend saving $25 and going with this Acer if you don't have a Freesync GPU.

Going from 75hz to 144hz especially in FPS should be quite the improvement and as long as you have the desk space and correct connections on your GPU you could keep both monitors and use the 144hz for gaming and your current one for web/Netflix/etc.

One other option if your games support the format is 29" 2560x1080P/75hz/IPS. Having that wider screen is nice for FPS that support 21:9 and the IPS colors are so much better then TN. Personally I have both the VG248QE (1080P/144hz/TN) and this ultra wide below and I like the ultra so much better for single player and competitive FPS games. While 75hz isn't as smooth as 144hz having that extra peripheral vision is great and 29" ultra wide is about the same height as a 24" 16:9. The only FPS that I'm aware of that doesn't support 21:9 is Overwatch but other Blizzard games do support it such as Diablo 3 and WoW. The games that don't support it will run in 16:9 which means black bars on both sides of the screen which is better then a stretched out image. The games that do support it look amazing, a few I tested were Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, WoWs, Shadow of Mordor, Just Cause 3, Dying Light, Mad Max, Tera, BnS & The Division all look great and natively support it. I'm sure there are plenty of other games that do as well.

I don't care too much about colors - brightness and contrast .. the most important is Refresh rate and the response time

here is the specification take a look plz and tell me

I did check out that MSI, the specs look good I just figured I'd make another suggestion to save some cash but if you want the curve then go for it. I also posted about a ultra wide above but if you want 1080P/144hz then nevermind.
