Hey Im 15 and am really into retro music and players. I have a cheapish turntable, cassette, radio, cd and mp3 setup. I have kept on buying these machines but have not really worried about speakers. I recently plugged my mom's speakers into my system (Logitech x240) and they sounded amazing!!! I am getting a set of 2.1 speakers next weekend. I live in South Africa and the speakers i will soon be getting are south African made so researching them is pointless but here are the specs: https://www.cashcrusaders.co.za/products/viewproduct/newgoods/1231/0/0/speakers/dixon-35w-rms-2-1-multimedia-bluetooth-speaker-system
Will this system produce great sound for a small area in the room i share with my two brothers. However when they are at friends i would like to blast my tunes. I can only afford a maximum of R700s worth of speakers ($46). I have already payed a half the money to the shop to keep them for me. Will these speakers be ok for me?

I loved the sound i got out of my moms... The speakers i have paid for i was not able to test but they have a higher wattage than my moms speakers as well as bigger speakers...

Every set of speakers sounds different. You can't purchase by the specs. You need to listen to them. A cheaper set of speakers like those, may have a lot of distortion at higher volumes. Hopefully, the store will let you try them out and return them if you don't like the sound.
