Are 3d monitors still a thing??

So I was thinking of updating my monitor and found some cheap 3d ones. So I wanted to ask is 3d even a think now or would it be a waste of money?? Also do I have to buy anything else?? I currently have a gtx 960

Yeah, I wouldn't go out of my way to get it as very few games have native 3d vision support.

If you enjoy 3D, go for it. Personally I only view 3D on my projector, and movies only, I don't game in 3D, I'm happy with 2D.
