Hello

The title pretty much says it all, already. I'm wondering if 6W/m.K Thermal Pads are good enough for an old Asus GTX 1070 Strix non OC? I already ordered them and it's too late to cancel, so I do regret for not getting a higher value. But if I can get by using these I'm ok with it. I am not planning to push my GPU to the limits but to extend it's life a bit, while playing some older titles on high or medium settings. And I do plan on replacing thermal paste, of course. But what about those pads?

The exact name of the pads:

VooGenzek 3 pieces 200 x 100 mm heat-conducting silicone pads, thickness 0.5/1/1.5 mm with 6.0 W/mk thermal conductivity, reusable thermally conductive silicone pad, for SSD-CPU-GPU LED IC chipset

the pads usually don´t have an impact on thermals if renewed. Thermal paste a bit.
But disassembling could reduce lifetime as well 😉

How hot is the GPU getting while gaming?
Hi, thanks for the reply. Which software is good for measuring temps and stress testing?
