I'm not saying it's making contact, it's just such a tiny gap that it makes plugging in front panel connectors or such that are usually at the bottom very annoyingWelcome to the forums, newcomer!
Not all cases with PSU shrouds are making contact with the edge of an ATX motherboard. If the case is well designed there should a couple of millimeters of space between the shroud and the board's edge. To add, the PSU shroud should have cutouts for routing wires.
Mind sharing which cases you've seen that make you think that the PSU shroud should be making contact with the board's edge?
