[SOLVED] Are all atx cases with psu shrouds like this?

I'm wondering if all atx cases with a psu shroud have the bottom of an atx motherboard pretty much touching the psu shroud, making plugging in or working with anything at the bottom of the mobo a pain.

Not all cases with PSU shrouds are making contact with the edge of an ATX motherboard. If the case is well designed there should a couple of millimeters of space between the shroud and the board's edge. To add, the PSU shroud should have cutouts for routing wires.

Mind sharing which cases you've seen that make you think that the PSU shroud should be making contact with the board's edge?

I'm not saying it's making contact, it's just such a tiny gap that it makes plugging in front panel connectors or such that are usually at the bottom very annoying

and the case i'm talking about is my current case, an aerocool aero 800, i'm wondering if this is typical for cases or if i just have a shitty case.

Generally the bottom of an atx board is pretty close to the shroud in cases with that feature.

However, there should be a tiny bit of space between them and some nicer cases have cutouts in the shroud to run cables.
