I’m building a keyboard, and I don’t know how to check if all my parts are compatible and have the right measurements.

If you use PCB software to design, then you should only be allowed to select standard components anyway.

That is like asking are all car parts compatible, in a world of patents every company has to very or risk being sued.

When it comes to DIY keyboards you have several brand names that offer products that vary then you have generics that generally work with everything.

Parts suppliers... yes they vary by brands.
