Are all Sata cables color coded the same way on a PSU?

New build and using some old components. One of the components I want to use is a Ultra 550-Watt Power Supply - LSP550 but is has a broken Sata connector.

I have a POS Logisys and the cables are color coded the same.

Would it be advisable to just cut and replace the sata wires to the PSU I want to use?

You want to just splice in the SATA from the Logisys to the Ultra? Yeah... +12V is always yellow. +5V is always red. +3.3V is always orange and ground is always black. So you can do that.

The LSP550 isn't a horrible PSU (like your Logisys), but it's far from good either. It's an antiquated, group regulated design with very poor efficiency.
Where wires are visible, it's typically yellow for +12V, red for +5V and black for common.
I personally wouldn't to try to connect new connectors like this, but it's your call.
One other suggestion would be to use a molex to SATA adapter, or a SATA power splitter to make use of existing connectors.
