Are all the parts in this PC build compatible?

Hello guys!! This is my first PC build and I was wondering if the parts would be compatible. Thanks in advance

Motherboard: Asus Z97-A 1150
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K
GPU: Inno3D GTX 1080 iChill X4
RAM: G.Skill Sniper Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 - 1866
HDD: WD Blue 1TB 3.5" SATAIII WD10EZEX
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
PSU: Evga 220-G2-0850-XR

CPU Cooler: Is this part optional? If no, then I have two choices - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO or Corsair H100i v2. Which one would you pick for this build

Case: I have three choices here - NZXT Phantom Full-Tower, NZXT Phantom 530 Full-Tower or NZXT S340 White Mid-Tower. I'd like to know which one would be the best to buy and will they fit all the parts

Why would you get an 850W power supply with that system? And why would you get old hardware? Also, I wouldn't pay more for a case just to advertise for Razer personally.

I am a total noob because this is my first build. Is 850W more than enough for my build and what do you mean by me getting old hardware? Which part is old? And for the case you are right. I now made a decision to buy the NZXT S340 White instead of the Razer special edition just for one logo

The CPU, motherboard, and RAM are old. And a 450W PSU would be fine; if you overclock heavily a 550W PSU could be a good idea.

I bought that CPU a while ago just before the new i7-6700K came out
Which motherboard do you suggest? And I wanted to have a DDR4 RAM, but I was impatient and bought the CPU which was on a sale at the time (the i7-4790k does not support ddr4). Which RAM would you suggest?

And also what about the build? Is it compatible?
