Are Australian GPUs Affected by Coin Mining?

Hi I'm from Australia and I'm not sure whether or not the current Aussie gnu prices will go down when mining stops. I've looked at the 1080 GPUS which are selling for the following prices in usd:

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme Edition- 680 usd

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 AMP! Edition- 650 usd

ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080- 700 usd

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming- 713 usd

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Turbo OC- 681 usd

Are these prices good deals or should I be waiting until this whole mining thing stops. Are Australian GPUs even affected?

Only the 1070 and 1060 mostly, although in Aus the 1080s are pretty overpriced atm.
Wait, they should easily go down to about the 700-750 AUD range.

So 1080s are affected by coin mining in Australia.
And how long until they go down?

A few weeks, give it time, might take a month and a bit, i'd wait for the 11 series at this stage.
