I expect it to last at least 2-3 years, and hopefully without breaking in some way (such as blockages, leaks, etc), ESPECIALLY anything that's likely to damage the rest of my PC permanently or start a fire.

I'm looking at the "Be Quiet Silent Loop 2 360mm AiO" however I saw some complaints about pumps and pipes getting blocked.

I then went to looking at NZXT's Kraken 360, however that one has a requirement to install CAM if I want to control or use it properly. CAM software has an absolutely atrocious track record for causing freezes, computer issues, etc. I'd rather not run it at all and plug the fans into my own controller hub built into the case. I can go without the fancy RGB control if needed.

I was hoping to go with Be Quiet! seeing as they avoid all of those issues (and IMO look nicer), but I don't know if they're known as the most reliable brand.

Pls enlighten me, I'm about to make the step to AIO for the first time!

but I don't know if they're known as the most reliable brand.
When it comes to CPU cooling, most reliable brand, hands down, is Noctua. :ouimaitre:

Be Quiet! is known to offer mediocre hardware and that at price premium. Though, they have produced some really good CPU coolers, like Dark Rock Pro 3 and Dark Rock Pro 4. But these are air coolers.

When it comes to AIOs, Arctic is one of the best (if not the best). Both the performance and reliability wise. Also, reviewed well,
lineup: https://www.arctic.de/en/products/cooling/cpu-cooler/cpu-water-cooler/

Even i have Arctic CPU cooler, albeit mine is air cooler.

I, personally, do not like AIOs. If you want to know why, i can post it with my 2nd reply.

You know you live in a pseudo-first-world country (i.e. New Zealand) when nobody here sells Arctic's AIOs.
I've been running a Dark Rock 4 (the single stack version) and while it's perfectly fine for the job, I have been looking in to AIOs for a while. But I can never really get myself convinced enough to buy one. Maybe if Arctic actually sold over here, I'd have bought one by now.

Well, you didn't say that you live in the middle of nowhere, next to nothing, in a god forsaken place. So, can't blame me of suggesting Arctic. 🙄 :cheese:

If no Arctic, then Corsair would be next in line. Surely you have Corsair AIOs on sale where you live.

Lian-Li is another solid option,

...Are Be Quiet! AIO's reliable?
pretty much everything that be quiet! produces is good quality.
like all manufacturers they may introduce some lower-end options,
but their higher-end products are almost always rated as some of the best.

any AIO you look into;
make sure the pump is not located inside the radiator,
and make sure the cables can be oriented in a way that air will likely not get trapped.
