[SOLVED] are console games gifting like pc community?

hello there i have a question about consoles world!
in the steam you can make an account and buy games for your friends or charge their steam wallet by "your steam wallet"
is it same in consoles?? i mean if i'd have a play station account with some credit, could i do the same for my friend's account?
what about xbox?! i will appreciate if you give me nice explaining about gifting system in consoles and diffrences beetwen them and pc world

You can do this on Xbox, but not on PlayStation. Though you can buy PSN gift cards and give your friend the redemption code.

You can buy games for your friends through your Xbox account that is reloaded before.
But you can't do the same in PS!? am i right?!

I should back up. You can purchase games as gifts for others on Xbox. You cannot purchase games for others on PlayStation. In either case, you cannot transfer credit on your account to someone else.
